This year’s upcoming conference will be held July 17th through July 18th at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice and will feature diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Decoupled Days—the only conference for architects, developers, and businesspeople who implement decoupled CMS architectures—announced today the official conference program, featuring new tracks on business, non-drupal Content Management Systems (CMS), and community with a commitment to diversity and inclusion, accessibility, and mental health.

This year’s upcoming conference will be held July 17th through July 18th at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City.

Program tracks include:

  • Headless CMS: decoupled and headless CMS technologies
  • Decoupled Drupal: use of Drupal as a content service and the range of architectures in decoupled drupal
  • JavaScript & JAMstack: modern JavaScript and its use in decoupled CMS architectures
  • Business/CXO: decoupled CMS in business, consultancy, and client landscapes
  • People & Community: personal and community dimensions of decoupled CMS, including issues of inclusion, accessibility, and mental health

This year, Decoupled Days will demonstrate a larger commitment to diversity and inclusion by devoting more than one third of all accepted sessions and speakerships to underrepresented groups.

Beyond decoupled tools and strategies, the conference heavily focuses on the people behind (and in front of) those technologies. This year, Decoupled Days will demonstrate a larger commitment to diversity and inclusion by devoting more than one third of all accepted sessions and speakerships to underrepresented groups including women, people of color, LGTBQ, trans(*) and GNC folk, people living with disabilities, veterans, neuroatypical people, and economically disadvantaged people.
